I think most people would agree that points paid in connection for refinancing a home are generally not considered prepaid interest and must be spread over the life of the mortgage. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the nice comments Susan…I just ran across your post this morning. Though your post is 18 months old now, what you’ve said is still true and I think even more-so. Magdalena is busy daily pulling out favorite recipes from Poland (and elsewhere) and adding her unique touch to delight her guests. She had a man in tears yesterday as the apple strudel she served him took him back to his grandmother’s kitchen a lifetime and a world away. Introduce yourself to Magda sometime – she loves to meet new people and it’s great to hear when someone really appreciates what she does.
